The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most applications.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the counter knife.

We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 4 parts.

The item suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of shredding models, other configuration variants may be available.

When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
