The X-variant of this spare part is made of tool steel. This option has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-options.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool is sold as a whole set, consisting of 4 parts.

This product suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variations may be available.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
