The X-option of this item is made of tool steel. This cutting tool has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the counter knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.

The product is sold as a whole set, consisting of 4 parts.

This component fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the wide range of recycling models, other configuration variants may be available.

When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
