This counter knife is suitable for shredders of the Vecoplan VAZ series from the manufacturer Vecoplan.

Through the use of different materials and varying the shape, the product can be matched to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and service life.

The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard option in most break down applications.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 4 parts.

The cutting tool suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of shredding models, further configuration variants may be available.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
