Compatibility with machines:
The counter knife is to be installed in the Lindner Jupiter and Lindner Saturn machine models from Lindner Recyclingtech.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well adapted to the break down application.
In the X-option, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.
Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the counter knife.
We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
This component is applicable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 145mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, various configuration options can be realised.
When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

The dimensions of the counter knife are 344.6mm long, 196mm wide and 47mm high.
