Cutting performance and durability:
The efficiency of this cutting tool depends largely on the variation of the material and cutting geometry.
Based on cold-work steel as the material of the W8-version, it is characterised by high toughness. In terms of resistance to impurities, this makes it ideal for demanding applications in most cases. This option is sustainable, as it can usually be re-welded or re-armoured after the product has worn out. Consequently there is no breakage or machine damage afterwards. Nonetheless, the W8-variant wears out faster compared to the Y-, X-, W- and W9-variations.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.
Fastening in the machine:
The spare part is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 145mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.
When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The measurements of the product are 344.6mm in length, 196mm in width and 47mm in height.
