The counter knife is suitable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Lindner Recyclingtech.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the service life can be impacted by the material and the shape. This means that the efficiency can be well configured to the input material.
Compared to the Y-, X-, W- and W9-versions, the W8-variation wears more rapidly, but in return demonstrates high toughness. This version is resistant to many impurities and is accordingly perfect for applications with demanding conditions. This W8-option has an advantage in terms of sustainability. This is because worn out items can usually be re-welded or re-armoured without resulting in breakage or machine damage. The material is a cold work steel.
In this variant, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears steadily over its lifespan.
Fastening in the machine:
This spare part is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 145mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, various configuration options can be realised.
When installing the counter knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
