The efficiency of this item depends predominantly on the variant of the material and cutting shape.
By contrast, the W9-option wears faster than the X-version due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-variation is a notable feature compared to the X-variation.
In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifespan.
However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
Fastening in the machine:
This component is ideal for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 87mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variations can be realised.
It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
