This counter knife is ideally fitting for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Lindner Recyclingtech.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well configured to the break down application.
The W9-variation wears more rapidly than the X-variant, but also has increased toughness and is resistant to impurities. However, the hardness of the W9-option is lower than that of the X-version.
In this version, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifespan.
It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 126mm. Due to the broad range of models, further configuration options are possible.
It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
