The W9-variant wears faster than the X-option, but also has increased toughness and is insensitive to impurities. However, the hardness of the W9-version is lower than that of the X-variation.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the cutting tools. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This product is sold as a whole set, consisting of 3 parts.

This item is applicable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 37mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, further configuration options can be realised.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
