The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable influence on the insensitivity and product lifespan.

This counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard version in most applications.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Spare parts of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The component is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration variants can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
