Counter knife GMVP1300-W1K-E from CUTMETALL for shredding machines from Vecoplan
Compatibility with machines:
For crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders by the manufacturer Vecoplan the counter knife is ideally fitting.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the efficiency can be well adapted to the break down application.
Knives in this W-variant are 5% softer in comparison to the X-version and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This spare part is made out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it applicable for demanding break down applications. However this variation has a shorter tool life.
Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.
We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.
This cutting tool fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, further configuration variants may be available.
When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
