Compatibility with machines:
This counter knife is perfectly suitable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Zerma (Amis).
Cutting performance and durability:
The product can be matched to the operational scenario, depending on the various materials and the variance in cutting geometry.
The W-option is manufactured from alloy tool steel. Against the X-variation, it has a shorter service life due to the 5 % lower hardness. However it is also less fragile in parallel. Knives of the W-variant are optimal for applications where the contact surface is no longer intact or there are impurities in the input material.
In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears steadily over its lifespan.
It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
Fastening in the machine:
The item suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 34mm and 60mm. Due to the wide range of shredding models, further configuration variants may be available.
When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
