Compatibility with machines:

The counter knife can be used with the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Zerma (Amis) company.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The cutting geometry and the material used for constructing have a considerable effect on the insensitivity and lifespan.

Knives in this W-option are 5% softer in comparison to the X-version and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This part is manufactured out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it ideal for demanding application areas. However this variation has a shorter durability.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This spare part is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 34mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration variants can be realised.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

 

General characteristics:

As this counter knife belongs to the Premium Line, the spare parts is exclusively made in German production.
