This component is perfectly applicable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders, and post-shredders from Zerma (Amis).

 

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of various materials and the variance in the shape, the item can be customised to the area of application in terms of throughput and service life.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-variant and is therefore less sensitive to fractures. This makes this W-version ideal for utilizations where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this option has a shorter operating time.

Components of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The spare part is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 34mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration options can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
