The counter knife can be installed in the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Eldan Recycling brand.

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well customised to the input material.
Comparatively, the W9-version is softer than the X-variant. Additionally, the W9-variation wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.
In this option, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.
Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
