Cutting performance and durability:

The efficiency of this product depends largely on the variation of the material and cutting shape.

In comparison to the Y-, X-, W- and W9-options, the W8-option wears faster, but in return demonstrates high toughness. This variant is insensitive to many impurities and is accordingly perfect for applications with demanding requirements. This W8-version has an advantage in terms of sustainability. This is because worn out components can usually be re-welded or re-armoured without resulting in breakage or machine damage. The material is a cold work steel.

In this version, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 65mm. Due to the wide range of models, other configuration variations are possible.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
