In the X-variation, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the service life of the counter knife.

We highlight that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This component is suitable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
