The item can be configured to the area of application, depending on the particular materials and the variance in cutting geometry.

The W9-option wears more rapidly than the X-variant, but also has increased toughness and is insensitive to impurities. However, the hardness of the W9-variation is lower than that of the X-version.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this version, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 38mm and 40mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, other configuration variants are possible.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
