This X-option counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most areas of application. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This item suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, other configuration options may be available.

When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
