Knives made in this Y-option will increase the tool life of your spare part. Due to the hardness the susceptibility to impurities is higher, which makes it easier to break.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.
We highlight that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The component is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.
When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
