Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the counter knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will acutely weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration options are possible.

When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
