Counter knife GMED0218-Y30-E from CUTMETALL for shredding machines from Eldan Recycling
Compatibility with machines:
The counter knife can be used in crushing machines of the Eldan MPR 120 series from Eldan Recycling.
Cutting performance and durability:
The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable effect on the resistance and lifespan.
Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-variant, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-version. This means that a longer operating time can be secured. In comparison, however, the counter knife is more susceptible to impurities, which can lead to fractures more quickly.
In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears evenly over its lifetime.
However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the items. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

The dimensions of this product are 218mm in length, 80mm in width and 40mm in height.
This favourable variant in comparison to our Premium Line is part of the Eco Line.
