Compatibility with machines:
This counter knife is applicable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Eldan Recycling.
Cutting performance and durability:
The performance of the spare part depends primarily on the variation of the material and cutting shape.
Comparatively, the W9-variant is softer than the X-version. Furthermore, the W9-option wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.
Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.
However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.
When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The counter knife is 218mm long, 80mm wide and 40mm high.
