The counter knife is to be used for the Eldan HR and Heavy Rasper machine models from Eldan Recycling.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

Comparatively, the W9-version is softer than the X-option. In addition, the W9-variant wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also insensitive to impurities.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
