Compatibility with machines:
The counter knife can be used in the Eldan MPR and Eldan MPR 120 model series from Eldan Recycling.
Cutting performance and durability:
The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable influence on the resistance and durability.
The Y-variant of this component is made of alloyed tool steel. In contrast to the X-option, it is approx. 5 % harder and thus offers longer service life. At the same time, however, the susceptibility to impurities raises, which can lead to fractures more rapidly.
In this version, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears evenly over its lifetime.
We underline that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
General characteristics:
This product measures 218mm in length, 80mm in width and 40mm in height.
As the counter knife is part of our Eco Line, this cutting tool is a cost-efficient alternative to the Premium Line.
