Knives in this W-version are 5% softer in comparison to the X-variation and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This product is manufactured out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it suitable for demanding application areas. However this option has a shorter longevity.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This item is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.

The spare part is ideal for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, further configuration options can be realised.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
