Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the input.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-option and is therefore less susceptible to fractures. This makes this W-variation applicable for applications where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this version has a shorter service life.

Cutting tools of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 2 parts.

The product is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

General characteristics:

This component measures 988.2mm in length, 104.5mm in width and 28mm in height.

As the counter knife is part of our Eco Line, this cutting tool is a cost-effective alternative to the Premium Line.
