This counter knife is to be used for the Weima WL and Weima WLK machine models from Weima Maschinenbau GmbH.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the input material.

The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard variation in most break down applications.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Components of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This item is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.

The component is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration options can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
