In the X-version, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.
This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.
In this option, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifespan.
We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
This product is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.
The counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, other configuration variations are possible.
When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
