In the X-option, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

In this variant, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifetime.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the products. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 2 parts.

This counter knife can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of models, other configuration options are possible.

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
