Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the service life can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well configured to the input material.

This X-version counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration options are possible.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

 

General characteristics:

The component measures 1521mm in length, 150mm in width and 35mm in height.
