Comparatively, the W9-variant is softer than the X-option. Additionally, the W9-variation wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This cutting tool is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.

The item fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, other configuration variants may be available.

When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
