Compatibility with machines:

This counter knife can be installed in the Vecoplan VAZ, Vecoplan VAZ 800, and Vecoplan VDS machine models from the manufacturer Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be impacted by the material and the shape. This means that the performance can be well configured to the input.

In the X-option, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

We highlight that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 2 parts.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of models, other configuration options are possible.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

This cutting tool measures 793.4mm in length, 107.7mm in width and 35.2mm in height.
