This counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most applications.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

We highlight that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variants are possible.

When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
