Compatibility with machines:

The counter knife can be installed in the Vecoplan VAZ and Vecoplan VAZ 1300 machine models from the producer Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the shape. This means that the efficiency can be well adapted to the application area.

The X-variant of this component is made of tool steel. This option has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variants.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Items of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.

The spare part is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, further configuration options can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
