The counter knife is suitable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of particular materials and varying the cutting geometry, the product can be customised to the area of application in terms of throughput and lifespan.

Comparatively, the W9-variation is softer than the X-version. In addition, the W9-option wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Cutting tools of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.

The spare part suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling models, further configuration options may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
