The B1-option has a high core strength, but is also more sensitive to wear. The advantage of this version is its high toughness. Items of this design can also be used with input material that is contaminated with impurities.

A counter knife of this variation is case-hardened, with a decreasing hardness from the edge to the core. This makes the wear of the item unstable in terms of service life.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 2 parts.

This cutting tool is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, various configuration options can be realised.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
