This item shown is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most areas of application. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

In this option, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the products. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The component suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 172mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, further configuration options may be available.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
