Compatibility with machines:
The counter knife is to be used with shredders of the Eldan HPG 165 model from the producer Eldan Recycling.
Cutting performance and durability:
The cutting geometry and the material used for constructing have a significant influence on the resistance and longevity.
Comparatively, the W9-version wears more rapidly than the X-variation due to its lower hardness. Also the insensitivity to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-option is a noteworthy feature compared to the X-variant.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the tool life of the counter knife.
We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.
It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

The measurements of the counter knife are 143mm long, 80mm wide and 40mm high.
