This counter knife is an ideal fit for the Eldan HPG 165 model range from Eldan Recycling.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well adapted to the break down application.
In comparison, the W9-variation wears more rapidly than the X-variant due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-version is a noteworthy feature compared to the X-option.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.
Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

The product measures 143mm in length, 80mm in width and 40mm in height.
As this counter knife belongs to the Premium Line, the cutting tool shown is manufactured exclusively in Germany.
