Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.
In this version, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifetime.
Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.
It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
