Through the use of particular materials and the variance in the cutting geometry, the product can be adjusted to the area of application in terms of throughput and durability.

The cutting tool presented is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most areas of application. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the counter knife.

We emphasise that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This item is sold as a whole set, consisting of 12 parts.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the broad range of models, other configuration variations are possible.

When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
