The spare part shown is made of tool steel in the X-variant, which is our standard version for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Cutting tools of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

We underline that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 10 parts.

This product is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
