This cutter can be used for Vecoplan VAZ, Vecoplan VAZ 2000, and Vecoplan VVZ machine models from the Vecoplan brand.

The wear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the efficiency can be well customised to the application area.

This X-variant cutter is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most application areas. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

In this version, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutter wears consistently over its lifetime.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the cutting tools. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When fitting the cutter, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The cutting tool measures 140mm in length, 140mm in width and 58mm in height.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 73°.

As the cutter is part of our Eco Line, this component is a cost-effective variation to the Premium Line.
