The performance of the screen basket depends predominantly on both the variant and the geometry.
This A-variation is an ideal choice in terms of tool life. It can withstand high wear conditions due to its extra hardness and abrasion resistance. It is made out of insensitive Hardox steel.
The round holes of the screen basket have a diameter of 30mm each. This allows the input to be processed reliably. The margin width of the perforated surface measure 10mm each.
Additionally, this item is equipped with chip breakers. These have the function of holding the input pieces, which are already narrow enough to fall through the perforations but are still undesirably long, in the shredder until they have reached the correct degree of shredding. This type of screening equipment is mainly used in application areas with wood, but can also be used in other applications.

To meet the application conditions, the screen basket has a sheet thickness of 12mm. Furthermore, the product with a width of 2030mm is used in the shredder.
