Through the use of particular materials and the variance in the cutting geometry, the cutting tool can be adjusted to the application area in terms of throughput and lifetime.
The X-variant of this product is made of tool steel. This version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-options.
This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the service life of the counter knife.
We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The item is sold as a whole set, consisting of 3 parts.
The counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variations are possible.
It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

The dimensions of the spare part are 1789mm in length, 129.5mm in width and 28mm in height.
