Comparatively, the W9-version is softer than the X-variation. Furthermore, the W9-option wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Components of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 3 parts.

This item is suitable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 37mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, various configuration variations can be realised.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
