Compatibility with machines:
The counter knife can be installed in shredders of the Vecoplan VAZ model series from Vecoplan.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the knife life can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well adapted to the application.
This counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard option in most applications.
Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.
Spare parts of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.
We highlight that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife will be sold as a set of 2 parts.
This spare part is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.
When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
General characteristics:
The measures of the counter knife are 1280mm long, 153.5mm wide and 25mm high.
Since the counter knife is part of our Eco Line, the component offers a favourable alternative to the Premium Line.
