Compatibility with machines:
The counter knife can be fitted for the Vecoplan VAZ and Vecoplan VDS machine models from the manufacturer Vecoplan.
Cutting performance and durability:
The cutting geometry and the material used for constructing have a significant effect on the resistance and knife life.
In the X-version, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.
This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the service life of the counter knife.
We highlight that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, other configuration variants are possible.
When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
General characteristics:
This cutting tool measures 793mm in length, 106mm in width and 35mm in height.
As part of the Premium Line, this counter knife is produced in Germany.
